what we've been up to...

Wow. Where has the last month gone? Probably, the same place January went...out the door as quickly as it arrived. Usually, at the start of the year, we find things slowing down a bit...at least for a few months. It is a great time to recoup after the holidays and to get organized for the new year and new seasons. 2012 took us on like a freight train on an express track to "the next year" loaded with changes and challenges to get us to our next destination.

I can't possibly sum up the last 30 days in one post. Plus, my mind as usual, is spread in about 1000 different directions on this evening. So, I am going to summarize what's been going around our neck of the woods and then will post more detailed accounts of certain events and topics in the near future (we hope for the "near" part anyway! I am not making any promises at this point. ha! ha!)

Baby Showers for two dear friends both expecting Baby #1 (one girl, one boy):

I am officially at home with my two little boys...for now. Though I would love for this to be a full-time situation, I am on the job search...again. During the interim, I will cherish each moment I have with these two!

We are moving. Next month. (to a different area of Minnesota.)

In addition to moving, we are trying to keep our house "showroom ready" for our friends who are selling the house. As you can imagine, this is a bit of a challenge with a 4 year old and a 1 1/2 year old. ;) I think I am burning a few calories picking up after these two squirts though!

"Uh oh."

A visit to family down in Texas with a LOT of Houston Rodeo. :)

And on other fronts...this little Mr. Mr. started walking/running all over the place last month!

We've also been enjoying an unseasonably mild winter here in Minnesota. ("Thank you Lord!" says the Mississippi girl!!)

In the midst of everything, we are trying to keep things as simple and sweet as possible. (ha ha! Your prayers are welcomed!) :) Happy Friday!!!

That mild winter makes all the difference doesn't it? It sure does for me! The boys are handsome as ever!
