Summer = Lots of watermelon

Date nights in the city...

Picnics out at the lakes...

Visits from family...

Traveling...

...and tons of time spent outdoors!!!

Also, this summer (due to the move) we have been doing lots of unpacking and organizing around the house.


Other fun stuff: Friends having babies!! ...which means fun showers! :)

We are off to a GREAT start to summer! I have literally been giddy these last couple of weeks from day to day life with the boys and our summer activities kicking off! My mom came and stayed with us for 2 weeks to which I am soooo very grateful for. She played with the boys, helped with the unpacking and decorating...basically spoiled us rotten. I cried when Rassie left. I think the only reason I was not depressed when she left this time was knowing that in only a few weeks we would be headed down to Mississippi for a visit! ;) This past year, our travels back home have been few and waaay too far between, so this Southern girl has been a little homesick and aching for a good long visit. Now that our unpacking has pretty much come to an end, I can start spending a little bit more time in my creative world after the boys go to bed. Yea!!! My blog post "to do" list is now almost 3 pages long so I have some catching up to do. So fun! I think I am getting giddy all over again! :)
