Last Thursday evening was "Moms Night Out: Favorite Things" at our church--an annual event. I had excitedly anticipated this event for an embarrassingly length of time. ;) Clay was going to be off on this particular night, so I jumped at the opportunity to go. I had been a couple of years ago, and LOVED it. I have actually had the desire to host something like this (in a smaller version of course) at my home for the last several years. Hmmm...maybe 2013 will be the year. :)
I never take a single minute that I am out with my girlfriends for granted. It is counted as precious and much needed time. These moms inspire me as an individual and as a mom...did I mention I won some cute polka-dotted straws too?! :)
